About Us

Pub in The Park was reborn on October 18th, 2002 when two up-and-comers named Billy Murray and Bobby Fisher decided to join forces and buy the Irish Pub. Bobby and Billy's vision was to keep much of the quaint atmosphere of a traditional Irish pub while bringing in some fresh happenings that the pub was lacking. So when you visit, expect to find long-standing Pub in the Park staples like Thursday Night Trivia and Karaoke intermixed with new rowdy and raunchy traditions like Schoolgirl Night where you can see Sara and Amanda shaking their ample assets throughout the Pub. Never a dry fly in the house!!!!!

The Owners

Billy and Bobby are similar yet altogether different, which is what makes their partnership so successful. Bobby is the consummate "professional." You can see him at the Pub five nights a week but you’ll never know whether he's had 1 or 100 (although it’s usually closer to the latter). Billy is the "weekend binger" often buying shots and rounds like he prints his own money . . . Billy is no stranger to the $300 bar tab and on occasion gets drunk enough to say something that will make a steel worker head straight to church. Just check out his rendition of Sammy Davis Jr.'s "Candy Man" at karaoke . . . whoa!

The Stalwarts

Maggie, Mickey, Kristie, Big Mac and Steve have been there since the beginning and are always ready with a cold drink and a warm smile. But be forewarned, they are seasoned enough to give you a big "eff u" under their breath if you don't take care of them properly. Mickey's impeccably trimmed, white, tufted beard will make anyone feel right at home, while Kristie's holiday outfits will make your eyes and mouth water. Big Mac is our stand in guy and official author and presenter of The Great Guinness Toast. Maggie's professionalism and charm are second to none and Steve ovles hte kcco!!!!

The Best of the Rest

Leighann, Sara, Amy, Jennie, Randy, Bobbilee and Jess. These girls and guys have learned from the best and are some of the greatest people in the world. You can see most, if not all, of them drinking at the pub when they are not working and every one of them is amazing at what they do.

The Customers

The driving force behind Pub in the Park are its customers. Whether it’s Pat Eiseman, who year after year is voted "bartenders’ favorite"; or the overly helpful Joe "Squeaks" Wheeler who will do anything you ever need . . . we love them all. You can always see Denny, Mook, and Brian concocting a scheme to beat the machines, while the devil himself, Mike McMahon, looks at his watch and says, "Billy, it's been 38 seconds since our last carbomb, let's have another."

The Events

What really makes the Pub tick are its many events. Trivia on Thursdays. Schoolgirl Night once a month. Limo scavenger hunts. Pirate and Penguin outings. 80's Bash. Karaoke contest. And plenty more!
